Nerve Belfast hosts games development meet-up

On Monday 7th October, Nerve Belfast is hosting a round table discussion at The Pixel Mill in Ormeau Baths Innovation Centre at 11am. This is an informal meet-up to speak to attendees about Nerve Belfast and the work undertaken with young people, the aim of the Games Development Skills Academy and to provide the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas on how this academy could be developed to best serve the local games industry.

Nerve Belfast is currently developing Northern Ireland Screen’s Gaming Development Skills Academy to support the development and provision of career pathways into the sector in Northern Ireland for young people aged 16-19 years old.

Following the success of last year’s Northern Ireland Screen Foundation Academy for Animation, Nerve Belfast is keen to work in partnership with local game developers and companies to address skills gaps within the industry.

If you would like to attend this meet-up, please RSVP today or if you have any questions, contact Laura at l.robinson@nervebelfast.com.
